i've only found one vuillard collection bigger (better) than this one. it's the complete collection: a 3 volume set (same page size as this book). i've only seen it in art libraries in large universities; it must cost hundreds.
for us mortals, Cogeval's selection will satisfy % of the vuillard fans out there. the image quality is quite /5(15). The book concludes with an examination of Vuillard’s sumptuous large-scale decorations, luminous landscapes, and elegant portraits from the last decades of his career as well as a substantial selection of his pastels and prints, in addition to his photographs, many of which have never before been published.
